The immense costs with a limited result don't allow for more than a mediocre efficacy. That is against basic capitalistic rules, which tries to optimize efficacy.

At the moment, a lot of the costs are hidden. And I am not even talking about waste management in a couple of decades.

Nope. These technologies have one single reason to exist:

THEY ARE THERE FOR MILITARY USE.

Costs are irrelevant, if you want to build a nuclear bomb.

I personally would consider #StraitOfHormuz be closed for the foreseeable future. Ships can do nothing against drones nowadays.

Just get used to the idea of one of the main fossil fuel sources to be dried up suddenly.

This WILL happen at other places, too. Not necessarily war related. But we WILL see more of sudden disruptions of #fossil fuel productions. For a lot of different reasons.

We really need to prepare for the post-fossil-fuel-era. NOW! TODAY!

One learning from the #US #Israel #Iran war is:

Not even the combined firepower of the largest military can take down a country completely. They used years of ammunition production. Still Iran is far from collapsing soon.

#Russia trying to break #Ukraine will not work either. Above all, the economic pressure limits the options for Russia much more.

Ukraine is just too large of a country to be bombed from the maps completely. 2000 drones a day will not bring victory. Neither for US nor Russia.

#Russia has NOTHING to offer to the #US.

Russia promised a part of #Ukraine to #Trump.

But Ukraine resists. To get a piece of the cake, they need to threaten Ukraine, not Russia.

As long as Russia is a threat to Europe, the #EU will continue pushing money to the US for defense.

Russia is on the brink of collapse. And the whole raid by the US administration collapses with it.
And you are surprised, the US is helping #Putin?
