This Afroman trial is giving me life. Cops raided Afroman's house for no reason. They pointed guns at him and his kids, ransacked his house, and tried to disconnect his home security cameras. They didn't disconnect them all, and so were allegedly caught on camera stealing his money. He then made a series of music videos using footage from his security camerasz and body cam footage. 2) Framing by newspapers and TV news

What I'm against, is violent people that try to blame steroids as their excuse for hurting people that they perceive as smaller than them. No. It's not the steroids. It's you.

It's Feb 2026, and 49% of white people in the US approve of the way Trump is handling immigration.

In case you're thinking that means that a majority disapprove? Nope! 4% are "Not sure." Only 46% disapprove.🤡

Some of y'all really believed that the percent of white people that support ethnic cleansing would drop lower🤷🏿‍♂️.

In October it was 50%.

Who wants to bet if it will be closer to 51% or 47% in July?🔮🧙🏿‍♂️

That's +2% or -2% from 49%.

I made the claim that the FBI declared the Black Panthers dangerous, not because they were Black nationalists or supremacists. They weren't.

They were dangerous because they preached racial *solidarity*.

I still remember when a bunch of Silicon Valley Venture Capital favorites saw a Black man working on his car in San Francisco in 2020.

Because they have no clue what normal people do in life, they thought that this car was being stripped for parts 🤦🏿‍♂️. They viewed it as a sign of lawlessness of San Francisco, and urged police to do more to keep people safe.

It didn't even occur to them that this Black man both owns the car, and lives in the neighborhood.

This would be funny. But these VCs that don't know anything, are funding and starting surveillance and enforcement companies that they think will reduce crime. This won't work because they know nothing about crime or how they reduce it. They only know this.

The ignorance + confidence combo, can be just as dangerous for Black people as the enemy action of the intentionally white nationalist VCs.

From the perspective of a Black US citizen:

* Black US citizens work to reduce racism and anti-immigrant sentiment 👍🏿

* Non-white immigrant comes to the US, and immediately starts trying to increase racism and anti-immigrant sentiment 🤷🏿‍♂️

* Non-white immigrant successfully gets themselves deported 🤡

This is a story that has been told many times, and has been translated into Cuban Spanish, Mexican Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Iranian Farsi, and Indian English and Hindi. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Some folks expect Black folk to work just as hard to rescue people like this. For me, the answer is no.

Energy for empathy is not infinite. And there are Brazilian immigrants that didn't come here just to be racist, that are in just as much danger. My energy and resources go to them instead. ♥️🕊️

Kindergarten teacher called a prank ICE hotline thinking it was real. She called to report her 6 year old student to ICE to try to get them and their family deported.

Then if Black Minnesotans don't turn out to vote for her in record numbers, a bunch of white people are going to jump on BlueSky and Twitter and Mastodon and Facebook to curse out Black people, and express their homicidal fantasies about how Black men and Somali immigrants now deserve whatever is about to happen to them.

🤔Is ICE bad because their agents are brutish and violent? Individual hate? Or is ICE bad because their mission is ethnic cleansing? Systemic hate? You can be more efficient with your systemic deportations, if you are *slightly* less brutish. If we replace Bovino for Homan, is that an improvement? ICE is crashing out these days because for all their increased budget, and fancy SS style trench coats, and raids on elementary schools, they still can't match the scaled efficiency of deportations that previous administrations could. Do... do you know who accomplished those scaled deportations?

In my (completely biased!) opinion, the most important free speech issue in a democracy, is the right to vote. In particular, Black folks' right to vote in the US is very important for all humans. It determines whether or not fascists take over the most powerful military the world has ever known, and whether or not the world will take meaningful action on climate change.

But we all act like it's normal that half of the US government openly suppresses Black voting rights.
